Training Credits
The Second Lid&Keratoplastic SUMMIT Tirol 2025 will provide highly specialised knowledge in aesthetic and reconstructive eyelid surgery. In addition, a dedicated day on corneal surgery (keratoplasty) will expand the scope for participants interested in anterior segment training. An application for accreditation for the event has already been submitted to ensure a well-founded further development for specialist participants.

Scientific Body Donors & Advanced 3D-Printed Models
This 3-day course offers a high-impact, hands-on experience with 15 surgical stations, each featuring a scientific body donor provided by the Institute of Clinical and Functional Anatomy and 80–100 advanced 3D-printed models representing a variety of pathologies.

Univ.-Prof. Dr. med. univ. Marko Konschake is a renowned anatomist and the Director of the Institute for Clinical and Functional Anatomy at the Medical University of Innsbruck. He specializes in applied, clinical, and functional anatomy, focusing on surgical anatomy and medical education. Under his leadership, the institute has gained international recognition for its advancements in anatomical education and research, particularly through the integration of digitalization and innovative approaches to improve patient care.

Schwabegger, MSc
Ao. Univ.-Prof. Dr. Anton Schwabegger, MSc, is a leading specialist in Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery. He has extensive clinical experience, over 100 scientific publications, and has presented at numerous international conferences. Dr. Schwabegger holds an additional diploma in Hand Surgery and has trained internationally in locations such as Glasgow, Bordeaux, and Detroit. He is also known for his humanitarian missions, performing surgeries for children with severe malformations and burn scars in countries like Niger and India. He is currently the Director of the University Clinic for Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Institute Innsbruck, which offers a wide range of surgical services.
